Our daughter died at 20 yrs of age in 2004, and our son last year aged 34 yrs. like you, I prefer to keep my mind either active, or completely in the moment to avoid the pain of grief. Time does heal. Thank you for your beautiful page about your beloved son. I share this love you have . My love for my two is at the core of my being. Your remembrance page is full of love, happiness, beauty and truth. Bless you, your work and your family. Namaste, Rhona. Ps I have bawled my eyes out after reading your pages because I allowed myself some love time with my two children. It still hurts. X R |

Name: Jimmy Layton Email: jdlayton@sbcglobal.net From: Sunnyvale, TX Signed on: 2/18/2013 8:23:00 PM Entry: Lisa, I'm Jimmy Layton, from your new Sunday School class. David's website linked me here, and I'm so glad I got to read your account and tribute to your son James. I know you don't expect folks to have sufficient words for your journey, but being my sainted mother's only child, I sure can recognize a mother's love!! I'm sad from what I read. I'm encouraged by what I read. Mostly, I'm touched by what I read!! It is a reminder to me how much my sainted mother loves me! Thank you for sharing something so personal. Jimmy |

Name: Patrice Email: Hugomartel@aol.com From: Mill Creek, Wa Signed on: 1/2/2013 11:58:00 PM Entry: My son Tyler, age 27, died on December 7, 2012. Three and one half weeks ago, a million years, a blink of an eye. He was young, in love, and going to propose on Christmas. His girlfriend is still not conscious from the accident that took my sons life. I was searching on line for scripture on grief, and found your site. It is a site that is my story too. Young sons, in their twenties, gone too soon. My son was dead at the scene, so we were only able to donate his corneas. He found Jesus in December of 2010. I don't know what you andi would do without the knowledge our sons were saved. Thank you for your website. I have found the words, "A new normal" to be scary but also inevitable. |
