We Give Them Back To You

We give them back to you,
for you gave them to us.
Yet as you did not lose them in giving
so we have not lost them by their return.
Not as the world gives do you give,
O lover of souls.
What you give, you do not take away,
for what is yours is ours always
if we are yours.
And life is eternal and love is immortal,
and death is only an horizon,
and an horizon nothing save the limit of our sight.
Lift us up, that we may see further.

Faith is the most powerful weapon we have

It is only by going down into the abyss
that we recover the treasures of life.
Where you stumble,
   there lies your treasure.
The very cave you are afraid to enter
turns out to be the source of
   what you were looking for.

The best way to love is to love like you have never been hurt.

"Love is composed of a single soul inhabiting two bodies."

"It is love alone that gives worth to all things."
--Santa Teresa de Jesus

"Beauty in not in the face; beauty is a light in the heart.
--Kahlil Gibran

Do not undermine your worth
by comparing yourself with others.
It is because we are different
that each of us is special.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen or even touched.
They must be felt with the heart.

Helen Keller

Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world. Indeed, it is the only thing that ever has.

Margaret Mead

Life is like an onion; you peel off one layer at a time and

 sometimes you weep

Our Creator would never have made such lovely days and have given

us the deep hearts to enjoy them unless we were meant to be immortal.

The only thing better than falling in love with you is growing deeper in love with you.

The only words more meaningful to me than "I do" are "I always will."
